2016 was a challenging year for many. I’m certainly no exception. It was a year filled with tribulation, doubt and loss. But looking back, I realize that it was a transformative period of my life. I was being shifted from the path I was traveling, onto a new one that was beginning to feel far more natural and organically connected to my passions.
But I’m not here to talk about the bad of 2016. I’ve happily left it behind me. And I believe that a happy and fruitful 2017 demands that. I invite you, friends, to lay down your troubles and failures of the year past and move fearlessly and freely into the new.
So what’s in store for the coming year? Quite a bit.
I’ve been quietly working on a number of projects that I’m truly thrilled about. So allow me to share some of that with you.
- I’ve been a health coach for quite a while. But as I’ve grown busier and more focused on nutritional healing for people with autoimmune disease, I realized that coaching wasn’t allowing me to make as big of an impact as I wanted. I felt limited by my role under an umbrella company and so I’ve decided to leave my first business behind and branch off into what I believe will be an opportunity to help people on a greater scale. Later this year, I’ll be providing gluten-free, grain-free, Paleo, AIP, Whole 30, vegetarian and vegan starter kits, which will include meal plans, recipes, grocery lists and access to an online support group! All of this will be available through the website. I’m hopeful that making this change in my approach to health coaching will allow me to help far more people get started on the path to a healthier, happier life. So stay tuned!
- Over the last few years, I’ve realized that beyond my mission to help others in their journey to health and wellness, I’ve developed both a deep passion and a keen intuition for entrepreneurship. I love working with others as they pursue their own goals and dreams, and I believe that entrepreneurship is a path to freedom for all people who are ready and willing to take the leap of faith. I have had the privilege of helping a lot of people begin the adventure of becoming their own boss and living a life by design, and so I’ve decided to make that a part of my work. I’m excited to be offering 1:1 mentorship and advisement to anyone looking to start a business! If you’re ready to get started and need help navigating the world of modern entrepreneurship, let’s chat!
- A few months ago, I met someone who truly changed my life. No, not in a romantic way. That’s another story entirely. But the man I met in pure happenstance one late, summer night turned out to be the catalyst for a whole new journey. I’ve learned a lot since my separation, about life and love and humanity. I never imagined, however, that the experiences of and following my marriage would provide me with insight and anecdotes to share with the world. Until I met Brad Wei. What began as a simple conversation about the dynamic between men and women evolved into a multi-layered vision to help people find their way in the world of dating, relationships and modern life at thirty-something. Brad and I have been cultivating content for this project and we’re both incredibly excited to be bringing it to you. We launched our debut podcast, Amour Modern Life, on January 9th. The podcast is a weekly discussion of anything and everything related to men, women and the connection between.
- Because I like to keep things fun and diverse, And because I believe wholeheartedly in the power of network marketing, I’ve decided to get involved with a brand new direct sales company that delivers specialty wines~from across the globe~right to your home! Who doesn’t love wine, right? If you’re interested in getting FREE wine, or even earning an income just by drinking and sharing wine, check out the club!
I’m equally earnest about each of these projects, and I’ve got a few other things up my sleeve for later in the year as well! I’m also working diligently on improving myself and my personal relationships. I want to be the best version of myself as a mother, partner, friend and mentor. I want to be as healthy as possible despite my illness. I want to live this life to the fullest. And it starts here, in 2017.
